TRS Corporators to Undergo Training - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: A two-day training camp will be held for the newly elected TRS corporators of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on April 11 and 12 at Pragati Resorts on city outskirts.

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has taken this decision during a review meeting with the city ministers and officials on Monday. During the camp, corporators will be trained in their role in making Hyderabad a global city with the best infrastructure.

Along with the GHMC corporators, the TRS corporators of Warangal, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nizamabad and Ramagundam will also undergo a similar training.

It is learnt that during the review meeting, CM KCR told the attendees of the meeting to work hard with sincerity as the voters in the state had given them a massive mandate with lots of hopes on them. The ministers, officials and corporators were told that they had to strive hard to meet the aspirations of the voters.

KCR also said in the meeting that each constituency would have 4,700 double-bedroom houses built by the government and the identification of the lands for the scheme was in the process. He also warned the officials about the corruption in public money that is supposed to be spent for them only. He cautioned the public representatives and ministers to make sure that there is no corruption in spending the money for the welfare of the people and also told corporators to supervise the ongoing works in the city at regular intervals.
