Chiranjeevi’s Golden Words Of Advice To Rajini, Kamal

Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi offered an advice to fellow actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan and asked them to 'stay away from politics'.

Chiranjeevi, in an interview to Tamil magazine Ananda Vikatan, observed that politics today is only about money power and that Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan must be prepared to face all challenges that comes their way.

He said that when he plunged into politics, he was 'Number 1' in the Telugu film industry. Despite such popularity, he faced defeat in the elections.

"Politics today is all about money and I was defeated in my own constituency using crores of rupees. Same happened to my brother Pawan Kalyan in the recent elections," Chiranjeevi was quoted saying.

He added that to be into politics, one might have to face defeat and humiliation and disappointments.

The 'Sye Raa' star added that he was hoping that Kamal Haasan would have done well in the recent parliamentary elections but that did not happen as his party had not won a single seat.

It may be recalled that in 2009 elections, Chiranjeevi had announced his Praja Rajyam Party in Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. The party won 18 out of the 294 seats. He contested from two seats -Tirupati and his hometown Palacole and was defeated in both.
