KCR To Pray At Vijayawada Kanakadurga Temple

Hyderabad: Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao would be visiting Vijayawada tomorrow. The purpose of KCR's visit is to donate a nose ring to Vijayawada's Goddess Kanakadurga. He would be flying along with his family members tomorrow at 11.30 am and would return to Hyderabad on Thursday itself. This would be KCR's second visit to Vijayawada after he became Telangana CM.

KCR had taken a vow that he would visit certain temples and would make gold offerings to the presiding deities there, if a separate Telangana state was formed. After the Telangana state came into existence, the CM has been making rounds to different temples in both the Telugu states. Already he has offered gold Saligramaharam and kantaabaranam to Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala, a gold crown to Bhadrakali in Warangal and another gold ornament to Veerabhadraswamy in Kuravi. He had also made a vow that he would offer a golden nose ring to Goddess Kanakadurga for fulfilling the prayer, and in fulfilment of this he would be visiting Vijayawada tomorrow.
