Revanth Reddy  Grilled By ED Sleuths In Vote-For Note Case

Hyderabad: The Enforcement Directorate has stepped up pace in the Vote-For-Note case,  by questioning former MLA Vem Narendar Reddy and his two sons  Krishna Keerthan and Krishna Bhargav about the source of the Rs 50 lakhs which were seized from  Congress leader A Revanth Reddy.

The key accused TPCC working president and former Kodangal MLA A Revanth Reddy is being questioned today by the ED sleuths.

They also questioned A Revanth Reddy’s aide Udaya Simha a civil contractor on Monday for more than 11 hours in connection with the Vote-For-Note case scam about the source of the Rs 50 lakh cash.

Revanth Reddy was caught on camera while handing over the money to nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson who was representing the Anglo-Indian community in 2015 during the MLC election time. The money was purportedly given to Stephenson asking him to support Vem Narender Reddy.

A case was registered by the Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau in 2015 where Revanth Reddy was named as A1 and Udaya Simha was named A2 along with  Sandra Venkata Veeraiah , Sebastian and Mattayaa who were also named in the charge sheet. The IT department had raided Revanth Reddy and the other accused houses and the CBI officials subsequently transferred the case to the ED.
