Dr Rajaiah takes oath as first Dalit leader of Telangana

Dr. Thatikonda Rajaiah took oath as Telangana cabinet minister in Raj Bhavan,Hyderabad on Monday. In the recently concluded elections, he registered  a thumping victory in Station Ghanpur. 

In the 2009 assembly elections, Rajaiah defeated TDP candidate and former Minister Kadiyam Srihari.

In October 2011, the leader quit Congress to join TRS.  And, in 2012 he contested on TRS ticket in by election from Ghanpur. He won the election by a margin of  32,638 against his nearest TDP rival Kadiam Srihari.

Harish Rao joins Team KCR

Harish Rao, KCR's nephew, took oath on Monday.  Harish notched up a thumping victory from  Siddipet constituency. Known for his credibility and hard work, he won by a margin of 90,000 odd votes.

Rao was elected from Siddipet Assembly constituency in 2004 at the age of 32, making him one of the youngest politicians from the region. Incidentally, the seat was previously occupied by KCR, who also contested from  Karimnagar Parliamentary seat as well in 2004. 

Rao soon became one of the well-respected leaders thanks to his role in both Telangana agitation and development/welfare activities. 

 KTR joins his father, takes oath

Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao followed in his father's footsteps and took oath on Monday at Raj Bhavan. He won from  Siricilla Constituency.

KTR won state Assembly elections both in  2009 and 2014 from Siricilla Constituency.

Since his return to India, KTR started taking interest in party affairs and played an active role. He joined TRS party full-time in the year 2006. After joining the party he has actively participated in numerous agitations, ensuring that issue of Telanagna is well represented.  

Long time loyalist, Nayani takes oath

Nayani Narasimha Reddy sworn-in as cabinet minister in new formed Telangana state. He won the recently held elections from Musheerabad constituency.

He is the only leader to be with KCR since the latter floated TRS.  He is also politburo member of the party.

A senior politician, Nayani  was first elected to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly in 1978 on Janata Party ticket. He then defeated future Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, T Anjaiah.

He lost the 1983 elections, but managed to win the next elections in 1985. Since then, he has been a runner up in all subsequent elections till 1999.

He defeated BJP's Dr. K Laxman in the 2004 election by a narrow margin of 240 votes.

Etela Rajender takes oath

Etela Rajender secured his berth in KCR's cabinet, he took oath as cabinet minister at Raj-Bhavan in Hyderabad.

He registered a thumping victory from Huzurabad constituency in recently concluded elections. He is also the TRS floor leader in the state assembly.

Pocharam takes oath as minister

Pocharam Srinivas Reddy was sworn in as minister in KCR's cabinet in Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad.He won the recently concluded election from Banswada constituency

In support of the Telangana Movement, he joined TRS party in March 2011 after quitting TDP. 

He went on to contest that year's by-elections and won with a margin of over 49,000 votes against INC candidate, Sangam Srinivasgoud.

He was made a Politburo member of the TRS on 24 March 2011.

T Padma Rao joins KCR

T Padma Rao won from Secunderabad constituency in recently concluded election.
 
In 2004 also, he registered a victory by defeating Talasani Srinivas Yadav, former minister of TDP.

Padma Rao stood from Sanath Nagar Assembly constituency in 2009 elections, but lost to Congress candidate Marri Sasidhar Reddy in that elections.

He also served as a Municipal Councillor (Hyderabad Municipal Corporation). He was elected only once as an MLA in 2004 elections.

Patnam Mahender Reddy joins Team KCR

Patnam Mahender Reddy won the election from Tandur assembly constituency in recently concluded elections.

He was also elected to Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Tandur assembly constituency in 1994, 1999 and 2009

He is also the Chairman of Patnam Rajendar Reddy Memorial Educational Society which consists of 3 Engineering colleges in and around the city of Hyderabad.

Jogu Ramanna joins KCR

Jogu Ramanna won as MLA from Adilabad assembly constituency in recently concluded elections.He raised a banner of revolt against party president Chandrababu Naidu, on the issue of Telangana by aligning himself with Nagam Janardhan Reddy.

He joined TRS on October 10, 2011. 

Interestingly, he is the only minister who belongs to Munuru Kapu community (Backward class) in KCR's cabinet

Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy joined KCR's cabinet.

He won from Suryapet assembly constituency in recently concluded elections, with a margin of 43,354 votes.
