'TDP side-tracking debate on killing of YSRCP workers' - Sakshi Post

YSRCP MLA Kodali Venkateswara Rao (Nani) on Monday lambasted the Telugu Desam for trying to side-track the issue of systematic attempts to kill and maime the YSRCP workers.

He said when the YSRCP was demanding a discussion on the murderous attacks on its workers, the TDP government was trying to bring in murders that took place some 10 years. "This is nothing but side-tracking the issue," he said.

" As many as 11 persons were brutally killed and 119 persons were seriously injured after TDP government took reins of power in the state. Some of them are still in hospitals undergoing treatment,” said Nani.

“K.Srinivasulu and Devineni Uma are talking about the murder of TDP leader Paritala Ravi that took place about 10 years ago. Immediately after the murder, Chandrababu demanded CBI probe on Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy, J.C.Diwakara Reddy and J.C.Prabhakar Reddy. The then chief minister Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy immediately ordered the CBI probe. Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy was later acquitted in the case. Recently, JC brothers joined TDP. This only means that all the three have no role in the murder. Yet, he is trying to whip up tensions between various castes," Nani said.

Nani further said, “YSRCP MLA Mustafa was recently attacked and some MPTCs and ZPTCs were kidnapped in the assembly constituency of speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao. Yet TDP leader K.Srinivasulu is terming all YSRCP MLAs, who are actually at the receiving end, as dreaded criminals."

"Chandrababu has back-stabbed late NTR. Should we hold him responsible for NTR's subsequent death," he asked.
