11 persons were brutally killed : YS Jagan

YSRCP president and Leader of Opposition Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy said that 11 persons were killed after the TDP took over power in Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking in the state assembly on Monday, he said that 119 persons were seriously injured in these incidents.

“We have personally witnessed the sufferings of the family members of these persons,” said Y.S.Jagan.

At this juncture, Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao intervened and said that question hour need not be postponed to take up the adjournment motion introduced by YSRCP members.

“You should not tell me on how to conduct the assembly proceedings. The house will run as per the procedures and existing customs. I am rejecting the adjournment motion,” said the speaker.
With this, YSRCP members moved into the well and raised the slogans ‘We want justice’.

Speaking at this juncture, deputy chief minister K.E.Krishna Murthy said, “It is appearing that the only agenda of the opposition is to obstruct the proceedings of the house.”

As the YSRCP members continued their agitation, the speaker adjourned the house for 15 minutes.
