Revanth Will Never Leave TDP: Says Lokesh

Nara Lokesh  - Sakshi Post

Even as Telangana TDP leader Revanth Reddy is raising a banner of revolt on Chandrababu Naidu and is preparing to join the Congress Party, TDP general secretary and Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh categorically said that Revanth Reddy leaving the party is nothing but pure gossip. He said Revanth has never said that he would leave the TDP. He said Revanth had told him that he had gone to Delhi to meet a lawyer and added that he was not aware that he had met Kambhampati Rammohan Rao.

He also scoffed at the media reports on the issue and said why should he react to media reports. But, Lokesh did not comment on the alegations levelled by Revanth Reddy.

Revanth Reddy has been sulking ever since there were reports that the TDP and the TRS are coming together in Telangana. Lending credence to the reports, another senior leader from Telangana, Motkupalli Narasimhulu, said that the TDP would rather align with TRS than joining hands with the Congress. An upset Revanth sought clarity from Chandrababu, but the latter was evasive. Since then, Revanth has been preparing ground to leave the TDP. Revanth, who has been arrested in the infamous Cash for Votes scam, has been very vocal in criticising KCR.
