Rangasthalam’s Resounding Success At Box Office

Ram Charan's Rangasthalam has been rock steady at the box office. One of the most awaited films of the year, it was released last week on March 30. To the cheer of fans and analysts alike, Rangasthalam is performing well at the ticket window.

Rangasthalam has beaten the lifetime collections of stylish star Allu Arjun DJ aka Duvvada Jagannadham and Sarrainodu on the sixth and seventh-day. Sources predict that Rangasthalam is inching to touch Rs 150 Cr mark by next weekend. The news about the success of the film, as also its watchable quality, spread like wildfire on social media networks and popular fan feedback. This, in turn, helped boost the collections on weekdays, as well.

Ram Charan's Rangasthalam is arguably his best film after Magadheera. It shattered the lifetime collections of Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daaredi, and Jr.NTR's Jai Lava Kusa. People are betting big time in a manner of speaking, that Rangasthalam will beat Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu and Jr.NTR's Janatha Garage lifetime collections by next weekend. Within two days of its release, Rangasthalam has risen on the rungs of big-time grossers to occupy a place in the all-time highest grossing Telugu movies in USA box office. As it turns out, it is currently holding fourth place.


Rangasthalam has minted Rs 81 Cr at the worldwide box office which is a first of sorts for records of non-Baahubali films. Ram Charan's Rangasthalam will soon compete with other two big ticket films which are yet to come. Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu and Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya are setting the industry buzz going .

Rangasthalam is directed by Sukumar also stars Samantha, Anasuya, Jagapathi Babu and Aadhi in the lead roles.
