Rangasthalam Delay Affects Charan’s Next?

Ram Charan - Sakshi Post

Director Sukumar’s Rangasthalam 1985 shooting brought the shooting of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s magnum opus, SyeRaa as well as the Boyapati Srinu - Ram Charan movie into a standstill.

Rangasthalam cinematographer Ratnavelu is supposed to get going with the camera for SyeRaa. He was initially scheduled to wrap up Rangasthalam and join SyeRaa in February. The unforeseen delay in Rangasthalam 1985’s production phase had to interrupt Chiranjeevi’s SyeRaa shooting schedule. Ratnavelu, is reportedly giving finishing touches to the Charan-Sukumar combo.

The second schedule of SyeRaa was to begin in the last week of this month. Sources confirmed the schedule is now postponed to mid-March.

Charan’s film with Boyapati Srinu, which has already wrapped up its first schedule in January, was originally planned to resume this month. Because of Charan’s ongoing schedule with the Ram Charan-Samantha starrer, both Boyapati and Syeraa teams had to postpone the schedule.

Boyapati is awaiting Charan’s arrival to resume the next schedule. After finishing the second schedule, Ram Charan and Ratnavelu are set to begin their respective projects.

Meanwhile, Rangasthalam 1985 is slated for release on March 31. The film unit is working 24*7 to complete the film and it is in the final production stage. The film is yet to go for censor board. Sukumar is believed to launch the audio on March 18 on the occasion of Ugadi Festival.

Ram Charan, who plays Chitti Babu in the film, will be seen opposite Samantha, plays Rama Laxmi. Chitti Babu has a hearing impairment and he accepts his disability.

Rashi Khanna and Jagapati Babu feature as lead characters in Rangasthalam. Jagapati Babu, Prakash Raj, Samantha Akkineni, Aadhi and Amit Sharma are the main actors involved in the Rangasthalam project.
