Mega Power star Ram Charan's forthcoming flick Rangasthalam 1985 is at the post-production stage. The filmmakers are working around the clock to release the film on the promised date. Recently, they have unleashed a video song, Yentha Sakkagunnaave from the flick which has registered well among the filmgoers. They have piqued interest of the movie buffs with teasers and posters.


In the latest development, Rangasthalam 1985 is said to be political drama. We already informed you that Cheery's Rangasthalam 1985 will be a village drop back story. It is for the first time, Ram Charan and Samantha are set to share screen space in this film and they will be seen in rural attire.

Speculations are doing the rounds that if Rangasthalam 1985 would be political genre then they might show a topic on legendary actor NTR in the film. We are not sure, a buzz about senior NTR role has gone viral on social networks.

Pooja Hedge will be seen in peppy number and it is learnt that she has charged hefty remuneration for her role. Anchor Anasuya Bhardwaj, Jagapathi Babu and Aadhi will appear in meaty roles.

According to sources, Rangasthalam 1985 pre-release business are doing better than Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya. It is worth mentioning, Rangasthalam 1985 did a fantastic pre-release in East Godavari which was made around Rs 6 crores. Cherry has surpassed Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya pre-release business in this region. It is learnt, the film audio launch event is all set to take place on March 18 at Vizag.

While the event if being planned on a large scale, there is lot of suspense on who will be the chief guest for the audio launch.
