Only Charan Can Reprise Chiru’s Role In This Cult Movie Remake

Hyderabad: It was a dream come true for Mega fans to watch Megastar Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan on screen together in Bruce Lee and Khaidi No.150. But, as they say, fans always crave for more from their stars. And one such popular demand from the mega fans is to see Cherry doing a remake of Chiranjeevi film.
Talks were heard from the beginning that Cherry would star in the remake of Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari or Gang Leader but nothing was announced officially.
Of late, we have seen Sai Dharam Tej, who has remixed Chiru’s hit songs in his films receiving a good response. Grapevine has it that makers want to cash in on his popularity and approached Sai Dharam Tej for a Gang Leader remake. But to everyone’s surprise, the actor turned down the offer and believed to have told the filmmaker that Charan was the right person to reprise Chiru’s role in the yesteryear cult Telugu film.

Well, that was sure a sweet response from Sai Dharam Tej. Though Charan is yet to respond to the news, this rumour has certainly thrilled fans.
On the work front, Sai Dharam Tej is busy with the promotional activities of his upcoming film Jawaan which will hit the screen on December 1. Meanwhile, Cherry is shooting for Sukumar's film Rangasthalam 1985 and has teamed up with Samantha for the first time.
