Salaar, Animal, Dunki, Other December Releases Rake In Rs 1,000 crore!

December is the favorite month for a large segment of the audience, especially in the Hindi belt. Both Bollywood and Tollywood trade experts cast their eyes on the Christmas and New Year weekends to keep track of consumer behaviour. Many movies are lined for a December theatrical release across languages, especially in Telugu and Hindi. 

Prabhas' Salaar, Ranbir Kapoor's Animal, Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki and several other movies are gearing up for a massive theatrical release this December. The budgets of the aforementioned films are huge. And they have raked in approximately Rs 1,000 crore in terms of pre-release business. 

A set of movies are slated to be released in Telugu: Nani's Hi Nanna, Nithiin's Extra Ordinary Man, Vishwak Sen's Gangs Of Godavari and Varun Tej's Operation Valentine are gearing up for a release on different dates in December. Their pre-release business totals Rs 1,000 crore. Will the films be able to achieve break-even and/or go on to become hits?
