Telangana: Yellareddy Girijan Students Sick After Eating Hostel Food

30 students from Girijan Gurukul School, Yellareddy fell ill allegedly after consuming contaminated meals provided by the government school on Friday evening. Students were rushed to the hospital after they complained of diarrhea and vomiting on Friday night. However, the doctors said that their health is stable. Fifteen days ago, students of the same school were attacked by rats in the hostel.

For the last few days, we are hearing the news of students from the government hostels falling sick after consuming food served in the mess.

In the month of June, more than 130 students fell ill following food poisoning at the Telangana Minorities Residential School in Siddipet. 

The government of Telangana is passing strict rules to provide good food for the students and instructed the officials to take necessary action against those who were responsible for serving contaminated food to the students.
