Hyderabad: Telangana Govt Allocates Land in Banjara Hills For TRS Party Office

HYDERABAD: Telangana government has allocated 4,935 sq yards of land to the ruling TRS party ( Telangana Rashtra Samithi) at NBT Nagar in Banjara Hills for the construction of the TRS Hyderabad district party office building. The order to this effect was issued by the chief secretary Somesh Kumar on Wednesday. 

The site is located at Survey No. 18 / P, 21 / P at Banjara Hills Road No. 12 in  NBT Nagar, Sheikhpet Zone / Village, Hyderabad District.  

The order stated that the process of finalizing the price was pending. The Hyderabad District Collector has been directed to complete this process expeditiously, the order read. 

Meanwhile, the district collector sent proposals on May 9 to allocate the land for the district party office in Hyderabad and the CCLA (Chief Commissioner of Land Administration)  approved it on the next day, May 10. 

The value of the land is estimated to be around Rs 70 crore. The party has its offices in all the 32 districts of Telangana.
