Banks Will Pay Interest For Money Deposited Under Dalit Bandhu Scheme: Harish Rao

Telangana Finance Minister once again stressed that every eligible Dalit family in the state will get the benefits of the Dalit Bandhu Scheme that has been launched in the Huzurabad constituency on a pilot basis on August 16. He said that people shouldn't have any doubts regarding it.

Harish Rao along with other ministers Koppula Eshwar, Gangula Kamalakar, SC Corporation Chairman Banda Srinivas, Collector, and bankers had conducted a review meeting on Dalit Bandhu at the Collectorate conference hall on Monday.

Harish Rao said that there is no need to worry about getting the benefits of the Dalit Bandhu scheme. He said that four units can be established with the help of financial aid getting under the Dalit Bandhu scheme. He further stated that government employees, retired employees, and those under 65 years of age are eligible for the Dalit Bandhu scheme. He said that those Dalit families who have not received the money under the scheme in the Huzurabad constituency will get money in three days. 

Harish Rao said that banks will pay interest on the money deposited in the account under the Dalit Bandhu scheme until the units are established. District Collector RV Karnan said that the details of all Dalits in five mandals in the constituency who didn't get money will be collected and the money will be deposited into their bank accounts soon.
