T20 World Cup 2021: Big Blow To Pakistan Team Ahead Of Semi-Final Match Against Australia

Cricket fans are going to witness a tough fight between Pakistan and Australia in the second semi-final match today at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

In the first semi-final match between New Zealand and England, New Zealand defeated England and reached the T20 World Cup 2021 finals.

Coming to today's match, Pakistan players Mohammad Rizwan and Shoaib Malik missed the training session on Wednesday with mild flu and low fever.

Both the players were tested for COVID-negative and both missed training.

After Pakistan skipper, Babar Azam, Rizwan, and Malik are the key players in the team. In the ongoing tournament, Rizwan is the third-highest batsman who scores more runs, and middle-order batsman Malik has been crucial in games against New Zealand, Afghanistan, and Scotland.

Pakistan Cricket team has yet to confirm whether the players are playing in today's match or not.

If the players were not available, Pakistan would have replacement options. Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed will replace Rizwan, and Haider Ali is expected to be considered in place of Malik.
