New Zealand Rings in 2024 with Dazzling Fireworks Display 

Happy New year 2024: New Zealand welcomed the start of 2024 with celebrations across the country. In Tamaki Makaurau, Kiwis bid goodbye to 2023 as it is the first major city in the world to welcome the new year. 

As the clock struck midnight in Auckland, fireworks lit up the Sky Tower while thousands had gathered on the ground to witness the countdown to the new year. The five-minute long fireworks display heralded the new year for New Zealanders.
