Zero Budget For Baahubali Promotions: Rajamouli

 - Sakshi Post

The Baahubali franchise, which gained worldwide acclaim since the release of its first part, is now set to deliver its animated series - 'Baahubali: Crown of Blood.'

Interacting with the media on this occasion, ace director SS Rajamouli highlighted that the Telugu filmmaker spent no money to promote the Baahubali films. From publishing advertisements in newspapers or magazines or TVs to air teasers or circulating posters or even buying ad spots, all were avoided.

Rajamouli and his team instead used their brains and put in time and effort to achieve good publicity through videos, digitized posters, and characters. The filmmaker believes that each product needs to have a specific market strategy in order to attract a new audience. He feels that people around him aren't necessarily awaiting new releases from the filmmaker, giving him a humble and balanced position that helps him channel his ideas and thought process to better cater to the audience.

Talking about animation, Rajamouli expressed his shock over the large perception of audiences in India on animation. "Many people in the country still believe Animation is meant for children and not meant for adults. This is not the correct way of perceiving the animated content," said Jakkanna. He said animation is also a way of story-telling that leaves a great impact.
