Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram Releasing on Jan 12: Ticket Price Hiked in Telugu States

Guntur Kaaram Releasing on Friday: Film goers are eagerly waiting for the theatrical release of Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram on Friday, January 12. As the Trivikram Srinivas directorial is releasing on Sankranthi festival, the theatre owners have made plans to cash in on the Tollywood mania. The bookings for the opening day seem to be full already.
According to reports, Guntur Kaaram will kick-off its grand release with a 1 am show in as many as 23 theatres in Telangana on the opening day. Some theatres have decided to go for the 6 am show as the first day first show. Following the nod from Telangana government, the management of the movie theatres have increased the ticket prices for this Telugu film.

The movie ticket for Guntur Kaaram has been hiked by Rs 65 for single-screen theatres and Rs 100 for multiplex theatres in Telangana. The increased rates will be effective from January 12 to January 18. Mahesh Babu-starrer movie is expected to have 6 shows daily in Nizam region for 7 days after the film release.

Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh government has approved the request for hiking the ticket price. In its order, the State government has said management of the cinema theatres are allowed to increase the film ticket price by Rs 50 per ticket over and above the actual ticket price.
