Gold and Silver Prices Fall in India Today, November 5; Check the Decline Rates

Gold prices in India continued their downward trend on Tuesday, November 5, with 24K, 22K, and 18K gold witnessing another sharp correction. The latest decline has led to growing expectations of further consolidation in the bullion market as volatility persists. Silver prices also slipped, mirroring the broader weakness in precious metals.
Investors are now closely monitoring gold price movements on Wednesday, November 6, to gauge the next possible direction.
Gold Rate in India – November 5, 2025
The price of 24K gold dropped by ₹71 per gram, reaching ₹12,246 per gram on Tuesday. Similarly, 22K gold fell by ₹65 per gram, now priced at ₹11,225 per gram, while 18K gold saw a decline of ₹54 per gram to ₹9,184 per gram.
This recent correction follows a remarkable rally witnessed in 2025, with gold prices surging nearly 60% since the beginning of the year due to heightened geopolitical tensions and stock market fluctuations.
Silver Rate in India – November 5, 2025
Silver prices in India also edged lower, falling to ₹151 per gram or ₹1,51,000 per kilogram. Despite the decline, silver has recorded a strong 65% year-to-date rise, driven by robust industrial demand and supply-side constraints.
Outlook
While both gold and silver have seen a short-term dip, analysts suggest that long-term investor sentiment remains positive. The ongoing correction is being viewed as a natural pause following months of sharp gains, with traders expecting renewed momentum once the market stabilizes.
