Shahrukh Khan Suffers FOMO, Rushes to OTT

As the pandemic hit and left the cinema theatres empty, many Bollywood actors were left with no choice but to consider OTT platforms. Over the past two years of Covid19, several movies and shows released on online platforms with big stars like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, and many others joining the party. This has worked well for them.

Now, superstar Shah Rukh Khan is wondering if he should join the rest of his contemporaries or not? In his latest series of ads, we can see SRK suffering a FOMO as all the other actors have rushed to OTT except for him. In the ad, the Raees actor is seen waving at the fans from the balcony as his manager is on a call with Disney Plus Hotstar. The manager shares that SRK’s idea for a crime drama has been rejected as Ajay Devgn is already doing it.

“Horror Comedy?” SRK asks. To which the manager says that Saif Ali Khan is working on it. He then asks about Action-Thriller and the manager says “there is IPL for it.” Shah Rukh then hopefully asks about college romance and gets the response that, “90s are now over.” In the end, he gets frustrated and says, “what am I suppose to do then, dance?” They are not looking for a reality show, the manager says.

This hilarious ad was shared by Salman Khan on his Instagram account. He shared the video and captioned it, “Hmmm Swagat nahi karoge SRK ka?”

Karan Johar shared a similar ad earlier on Twitter. SRK captioned the post, “Hmmmm….Picture toh abhi baaki hai….mere doston… #SiwaySRK.” It is clear that the actor is planning something and will soon come to the OTT platform. Fans are speculating an announcement soon.

Currently, Shah Rukh is working with filmmaker Atlee on an untitled project. He also has Siddharth Anand’s action film Pathan in the pipeline. Pathan also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles.
