Twitterati Tears Into Yeddyurappa For Linking Airstrikes To Elections

Karnataka BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa stated that the Narendra Modi government had done a wonderful job in launching airstrikes on JeM camps in Pakistan. He did not stop at that, he went one step ahead and said that this move by the Centre was sure to earn them 22 Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming elections.
This has not gone down well with not only the opposition and common citizens but also his own partymen. While Congress is having a field day at Yeddy's expense, Twitterati tore into him. Here's a look at the tweets...
Who says only opposition has funny characters? I had big respect for #Yeddi at one time. Time for him to retire, perhaps. A big leader can't make such outrageous statement. https://t.co/zsTLwrlsae — Ratan Sharda ?? (@RatanSharda55) February 28, 2019 And good old @BSYBJP gives away the story! BS Yeddyurappa says war will bring BJP votes.
The entire nation is worried and in pain but Modi govt shows no concern.
I want our bravehearts to know we are with them in their every fight!

But don't you criticise the govt for continuing with their rallies even when there's tension at the border. Bhakts will say you're politicising the issue.
1. How can he so brazenly say that the IAF air-strike will win seats for the BJP in Karnataka?
2. How exactly did he arrive at the conclusion that it will be 22 seats?

>>BS Yeddyurappa said that IAF action in POK has resulted in a pro-Modi wave in the country and BJP will win 22 of 28 lok sabha seats in Karnataka. #WahModijiWah #PoliticsToday https://t.co/kAWFGiOuk0
