Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan - Sakshi Post

Tollywood big stars like Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Superstar Mahesh Babu have a solid fan following across the universe. Their movie releases are always celebrated like big festivals. South Indian Film's Box Office had put out a poll to know who is the box office King in Tollywood.

They listed out four A-lister actors of Tollywood like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Jr.NTR and Ram Charan. Guess what? Mahesh Babu is leading with a majority of votes with 49% followed by Pawan Kalyan with 26%, Jr.NTR with 14% and Ram Charan with 11%.

Check out this tweet for clarity:

Mahesh Babu is on a winning streak with his latest outing Bharat Ane Nenu. Mahesh Babu's earlier two films— Brahmotsavam and Spyder became box office debacles. Now, it looks like the Koratala-Mahesh duo is the best director-actor combo in Tollywood. Their Bharat Ane Nenu is faring well at the box office, a reason why mahesh has emerged as the king of Tollywood box office. What's surprising is that Charan's Rangasthalam too is doing tremendous business at the box office even a month after its release. Yet, Mahesh has emerged as the box office winner. Probably because he has a bigger fan base when compared to Charan. On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan was last seen in Agnyaathavaasi which was released as a Sankranti treat to Telugu audience. However, the film became a dud at the box office within days of its release.

On top of that, the Telugu power star said he was bidding adieu to his film career due to his political aspiration. There is no buzz if Pawan Kalyan will work in films or not in future. But, it's heartening to note that audiences have started pinning hopes on Mahesh again as Tollywood box office King, all thanks to his Bharat Ane Nenu.
