KCR To Axe Politicians, Officials, Who Danced To The Tunes of Nayeem
Hyderabad: The slain gangster Nayeemuddin’s diary is creating tremors as the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhara Rao is gearing up to take stern action against those who had links with the gangster. Special Investigation Team (SIT) has already submitted a detailed report and the prized diary to the KCR. It’s learnt that each page of the diary is revealing mind-boggling facts about the nexus among politicians, officials and underworld.
According to the sources in the know, KCR is very firm on taking action in such a way that in future also it should terrorize every one to even talk to the underworld criminals. Some top police officials said they have clear directions from the Chief Minister giving a free hand to the investigating team to arrest anyone on proven proofs.
KCR has already given indications about stringent action against those politicians who had links with Nayeem regardless of party status. The Telangana Chief Minister wants to have a clear picture by this month end regarding investigation into Nayeem’s criminal activities.
The Intelligence Chief, Head of SIT and DGP are aware of the contents of the crucial diary and it’s believed to be handed over to the CM.
SIT has booked 72 cases against the naxalite-turned-extortionist and arrested over 77 culprits. However, so far, investigators working under the supervision of SIT have not yet named any policeman. Though some clues about political names revealed, no police official named. However, several former top officials and police boss admitting before the media that Nayeem was ‘used’ by the department as an informant.
CM KCR has decided to keep tabs on the criminal activity in the State as he wants to transform Telangana into a peaceful and industry-friendly state.
Already names of two MLAs from opposition and one MLC from the ruling party were indicated. Names of political brothers in Nalgonda district are also making rounds in the media.

A senior police official said that the investigation, as everyone expected, not going by the contents of diary. But, SIT is probing from the opposite direction as it started grilling persons arrested in 72 cases in order to establish the trail to the names in the diary.
Gangster Mohammad Nayeemuddin was killed in an encounter at Shadnagar on August 8.
The Cyberabad police searched Nayeem’s den at Alkapuri Colony, Narsingi, and seized firearms, cash, vehicles and thousands of documents, carted away in 20 suitcases.
SIT happened to notice the diary in one of the suitcases, which reportedly has details of Nayeem’s friends and benefactors, including the ones in the police establishment.
Nayeem had habit of taking photos with whom all he met, brokered, extorted and dealt with.
Police interrogated Nayeem’s associates arrested in Nalgonda and Cyberabad. From this interrogation, police came to know that the gangster had given plots from SLN Colony and Teacher’s Colony near Bhongir to some cops.
“Of the 150 acres of land in two colonies, Nayeem took possession of 75 acres by signing a deal with the original land owner after people purchased plots from a GPA holder,” a police officer of Bhongir said.
Nayeem had registered several plots on the name of his benamis.
The list of police officials is also making rounds in the media. Nayeem also gifted land to a retired additional SP, an additional SP working in the CID, an ACP working with the Hyderabad police commissionerate and an ACP working at the state police headquarters. An inspector working in Andhra Pradesh, two inspectors of Mahbubnagar district, several sub-inspectors and constables were also listed as beneficiaries by the gangster’s associates.

The interesting habit of Nayeem to record everything in the diary and taking photos with everyone he met is helping SIT know all the corners of his crime world. especially about people who received special benefits from the gangster.
“The entries are in Telugu, but not in the handwriting of Nayeem. He might have made one of the women in the den make the entries,” a police official said.
The diary recorded cash receipts through extortion, some as huge as Rs 20 crore, and benefits doled out to politicians as well as police personnel. However, the names cops and politicians are mostly in codes, sometimes mentioning their ranks, said a senior police official.
Yadadri Sub-registrar Arrested
Nalgonda: Yadadri sub-registrar Wahid on Wednesday arrested in links with Nayeem. The sub-registrar was reportedly working for Nayeem in registration of several encroached plots.
Bura Narsaiah Goud, TRS MP from Nalgonda, said that Police will take action against anyone regardless of their influence. He further said: “Chief Minister K Chandrashekhara Rao is firm on taking action and restoring peaceful atmosphere in the state. Whether culprits from TRS or some other party, Police will continue to take action. Congress Party is unnecessarily creating ruckus over the Nayeem’s case.”
