Kaala Satellite Rights Sold For Record Price

Superstar Rajinikanth's forthcoming flick Kaala is one of hugely awaited films of the year.The film was supposed to release on April 27 but the makers had to push the film's release to June for various reasons. In a latest development, Rajinikanth's Kaala satellite rights have been sold for a fancy price. Kaala satellite telecast rights have been bagged by Vijay TV for a staggering Rs 75 crore.

Kaala is directed by Pa Ranjith and it also marks the second collaboration of Rajinikanth with the director. Earlier, they came together for Kabali which failed miserably at the box office. Now, Kaala is produced by the Tamil superstar's son-in-law and actor Dhanush. Huma Qureshi, Nana Patekar, Samuthirakani, Sukanya will appear in key roles. Rajini fans are waiting with bated breath for an update on Rajini's pending project 2.0.

The film is directed by S Shankar which also features Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar as a baddie in the film along with Amy Jackson as the female lead who is reprising the role of Aishwarya Rai in Robot.

Rajinikanth will be seen playing a mafia don in the film with the name Karikaalan aka Kaala. The film is set for grand release on June 9.Watch this space for updates.
