Ibrahimpatnam Police Impose Restrictions on Flexi Banners Except of Chandrababu Naidu

Vijayawada: In a vulgar show of high-handedness, the police have removed all banners in Ibrahimpatnam near Vijayawda except those of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The police officials have issued a diktat saying that no permission would be given to flexi banners except those of Chandrababu Naidu.

YSRCP leaders displayed flexi banners on their houses welcoming pilgrims to Krishna Pushkaralu. The police have ordered the removal of those banners. YSRCP leaders Jogi Ramesh and Nagi Reddy have entered into a heated argument with the policemen, who came to remove the banners.

This created a tense atmosphere here for sometime. YSRCP leaders said that they wanted to welcome devotees on the occasion of pushkaralu and that there was no political element in this.
