Heroine fixed for Mahesh-Murugadoss film!

Hyderabad: At last, the hunt for the leading lady for Tollywood’s heart-throb Mahesh Babu’s next flick, which is directed by Murugadoss, has come to an end. The film’s unit initially approached Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra but it did not work out as she reportedly demanded huge amount to act alongside ‘Prince’.

Finally, the team opted for one of the in-demand actresses in the Telugu industry and that is Rakul Preet Singh, who is currently ‘trending’ in the south industry. Director Murugadoss himself took to microblogging site to confirm the news. He tweeted, “@Rakulpreet plays the leading lady in my next with @urstrulyMahesh :)”.

In a reply, Rakul also posted a tweet thanking the director and hero Mahesh Babu for selecting her as the leading lady for the action-drama film. She said, “ @ARMurugadoss @urstrulyMahesh Thanku so much sir. Such a privilege to be working with you and mahesh sir”.

It is said that Rakul Preet had demanded an amount of Rs. 1 crore for this project.
