Heavy Rain Likely To Pound Telangana Today, Tomorrow

The city was thrown out gear with heavy rainfall and gales on Tuesday and Wednesday - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: After the city was thrown out gear with heavy rainfall and gales on Tuesday and Wednesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued a thunderstorm warning for Telangana for the next two days. The IMD official said that the changes in weather condition are likely due to the trough passing across Telangana to Tamil Nadu.

Power supply was disrupted in several areas in the city on Wednesday as the squall resulted in uprooting of trees and snapping of power supply network. However, no loss of life was reported.
