Get Clay Ganesh Idols At Discount Price Through HMDA

Hyderabad: Aiming to promote clean environment and safeguarding water bodies, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has geared up to promote clay Ganesha idols at discounted prices. The officials are planning to sell around 10,000 Ganesh idols before Vinayak Chavathi festival which begins on August 24. People can purchase these idols through residential welfare associations during the season.

The HMDA has placed orders for the idols with the artisans with a deadline of August 18. It also prescribed the specs for the idols - for homes it should of 8 inches in height. The state government last year also initiated the measures for environment friendly Ganesh idols.
