Maharshi Day 21 Collections, Overtakes Bharat Ane Nenu Box Office  

Director Vamsi Paidipally's 'Maharshi' is having a dream run at the box office. It has surpassed the lifetime collections of Industry hit 'Rangasthalam' and many other movies. 'Maharshi' has emerged as the first highest grossing film of this year. Going strong in its third week, the film is nowhere showing any signs of slowing down at the box office. 'Maharshi' has broken many records at the box office.

After creating a record with the phenomenal numbers on the opening day, 'Maharshi' continues to be raking high at the box office winning hearts all over. On top of it all, it is running strong at the box office despite new releases.

Recently, 'Maharshi' even touched the rare feat of Rs 100 Cr share mark which was widely celebrated by his fans in Telugu states.

'Maharshi' deals about farming and the struggles of farmers. While watching the film, audiences have felt without the farmers, the survival of humans is difficult. The effort they put into cultivate rice or vegetables is really speechless.

It is worth mentioning that Mahesh Babu has dethroned his own record of ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ with Maharshi'. The film has beaten the lifetime collections of 'Bharat Ane Nenu'.

The global ticket sales of the film are estimated to be a whopping Rs 168 crore, beating the worldwide gross of director Koratala Siva's blockbuster Bharat Ane Nenu which pulled in a lifetime total of Rs 161 crore. Maharshi met with mixed reviews but earned Rs 175 Cr in less than three weeks.

Talking about the latest collections of 'Maharshi', it has managed to collect Rs 2.45 Cr in 21-days at the box office. 'Maharshi' has grossed Rs 125.1 Cr from Telugu states. The total share of 'Maharshi' from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh is believed to Rs 77.5 Cr.
