Yesterday, Vijay Deverakonda was the guest of honor at Niharika's forthcoming flick 'Suryakantham' pre-release event. Vijay Deverakonda who perhaps heard about the link-up rumors about him and Niharika probably decided to put the rumors at rest.

During the pre-release event, Vijay Deverakonda said “I really enjoyed working with veteran actor Naga Babu in 'Geetha Govindam'. He was a very cool person and I felt like my father. I attended this function as a big brother duty to promote my sister Niharika’s film.” Wow! So that answers your question. For all those calling them a couple, Vijay-Niharika share a sibling-like relationship.

Vijay went on to add: “Currently, Ram Charan and Varun Tej are tied to their work commitments and Tej is busy shooting in the US. Fulfilling my duty as a brother in absence of them is really a rare moment. I'm so grateful to do so.” Deverakonda latest speech has taken the internet by storm with memes. His countless fans are singing praises of his humble attitude.

Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda will be soon seen in ‘Dear Comrade’ which would release on May 31 across the world. It brings the much adored couple Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika on the screen again. The duo were last seen in ‘Geetha Govindam’ and their on-screen chemistry was one of the highlights of the film.
