It’s Payback Time: Mahesh Fans To Samantha

Sizzling actress Samantha is a woman of substance. She manages to steal the show every time, be it her movies or grooming. She is a doting wife to Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. She is reaching new heights in her career. Her last big screen appearance in Telugu was 'Rangasthalam' which did mind-blowing business at the box office. Her performance in Rangasthalam was outstanding and she featured alongside Ram Charan.

Speaking about her current movie, she will soon be seen in 'Majili' opposite to her actor cum husband Naga Chaitanya. The movie marks the first project of the duo after their marriage. Before marriage, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya were featured in- 'Ye Maya Chesave' which was path-breaking movie for both the stars. Another movie was 'Auto Nagar' which did reasonably well at the box office.

Yesterday, The song from 'Majili' was dropped on the internet. It received a positive response from all quarters. At the same time, the song picked up the race on social media. In one of the scene, Samantha is seen touching the feet of Naga Chaitanya in the song 'Priyathama Priyathama'. Her song has been creating some rucks on the internet and has been facing backlash. Confused? What is the connection between Samantha’s song and Mahesh Babu, you may ask?

Away back of 2017, Samantha made some comments of Mahesh's (1 Nenokkadine) poster which reads like this: "Saw a poster of a yet to be released Telugu film. Not only is it deeply regressive, but its point is actually that it is deeply regressive."

Her recent track ' Priyathama Priyathama' came under a fresh attack. Some section of fans has made comments stating that is she is doing regressive things herself. People claim that Samantha may say that she is not the one taking blessing but the middle-class character Sravani she's playing, who happens to be the wife of Poorna (Chay). In that context, even other stars also do regressive things when their character demands it in the film. Finally, it could be payback time for Mahesh Babu fans and they are throwing some nasty comments at her.
