Of late, Vijay Deverakonda has been busy with his upcoming film 'Dear Comrade' which is on the verge of completion. Vijay Deverakonda's name has been featured in the news not for his success track movies but for his Bollywood debut. Recently, Vijay Deverakonda had been offered the role of Krishnamachari Srikanth in Ranveer Singh's 83 by Kabir Khan. It is a sports drama which is the story of India’s incredible 1983 World Cup victory in cricket.

Vijay Deverakonda got a chance to work with Ranveer Singh where many Bollywood stars are desperately wanting to work with him even for a few seconds of screen space. Those who are late to this story, Vijay Deverakonda has turned down the offer due to his prior commitments and passion towards Telugu movies. Reason behind Deverakonda's actual rejection is yet to be known. Now fresh reports are suggesting that Vijay Deverakonda is likely to be seen in Karan Johar's Takht ,which has a stellar cast of Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Jhanvi Kapoor among others. Now that would be dream debut in Bollywood for Vijay if the opportunity manifests and he takes it up.
