K.G.F: Chapter 1 Second Day Box Office Collections

Kannada actor Yash is basking in the glory of KGF Chapter 1 success which is doing outstanding business at the box office. The film opened in theatres on Friday with rave reviews. Thanks to the positive word of mouth which is helping to draw audience to theatres. It is the second film after Baahubali which was made in five languages-Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. The film went on to collect Net Rs 20 Crores on opening day at the domestic box office. Despite the film facing huge competition from Shah Rukh Khan's Zero, Padi Padi Leche Manasu, Seethakai and other few movies.
The film KGF stands for Kolar Gold Fields and in the 1970 and 1980S. Yash is on a a record-breaking spree with opening day collections. KGF has set a new benchmark in Yash's career. We bet the film will likely make its way to the Rs 50 Cr club by this weekend even though it is believed to have raked in so much via other business. Going by the trend, the film would break every possible record at Karnataka box office. After seeing the overwhelming response to KGF, it is being heard that they are extending theatres for the film across the nation.
If trade sources are to be believed,the movie has earned $120,621 at the Americn box office only from 61 locations. While coming to domestic box office, the film could add another approximately Rs 10 Cr on second day box office collections at the Karnataka box office. Exact figures are yet to be know. Vijay Kiragandur has produced the film under the banner Hombale films. It is written and directed by Prashanth Neel. The film stars Srinidhi Shetty and Anantnag in prominent roles while Tamannaah Bhatia is seen in a special song.
