Director Shankar's 2.0 features Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. The film is doing unbelievable business at the worldwide box office. The film is running to packed theatres in its third week successfully. Rajinikanth reprising his characters of Dr Vaseegaran and Chitti from the 2010 hit film 'Enthiran' (Robo). Akshay Kumar plays an antagonist in the film along with Amy Jackson in pivotal. The music has been composed by AR Rahman.
Rajinikanth, Shankar and Akshay Kumar are on cloud nine over the massive success of 2.0. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has moved to his next movie Petta which is nearing completion and is due to release in January 2019.
