Mahesh as Anirudh in Tamil  

The time has now arrived for Anirudh. No, we don't mean music composer Anirudh, we are referring to Mahesh Babu. Yes, the Telugu superstar will be seen as Anirudh in the Tamil remake of the Telugu film Brahmotsavam.

Reports suggest that Mahesh Babu's  Tamil flick Anirudh is gearing up for release in the first weekend of August (3rd).

The film features Kajal, Samantha and Pranitha in the lead roles. Brahmostavam is all about the importance of joint family. Last year, Mahesh Babu made his debut in Kollywood with Spyder which failed to impress the audiences. We have to wait and see if Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam will create magic at Kollywood box office and kickstart his innings in the Tamil film industry.

It's worth mentioning here that the Telugu version of Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam didn't fare well at the box office. Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is busy with his next film which is being directed by Vamsi Paidipally.
