Rangasthalam, Mahanati Beat Bharat Ane Nenu: The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne-2018 is on the cards and will announce the list of regional films. The event is all set to take place next month, beginning on August 10 and ending on August 22. It is known to be one of the largest film festivals in southern hemisphere. 2018 has turned out to be an exceptional year for two Tollywood films.

Mega powerstar Ram Charan's Rangasthalam is one of the films which has been selected from Telugu films to be screened in Indian Film Festival of Melbourne-2018. Rangasthalam is directed by Sukumar and is a movie in which Cherry is seen playing as a partially impairing person in the film. Rangasthalam has turned out to be a juggernaut of 2018 at the box office. It also stars Samantha, Aadhi and Prakash Raj in lead roles. It is worth mentioning here that Ram Charan will fly in his own private jet to this festival as they have invited him as a guest for the screening of his film and awards function of the festival.

On the other hand, Mahanati which is a biopic of the great Savitri of yesteryears has turned out to be a commercial hit. Similarly, Mahanati will be also be screened in the same festival around these dates. Mahanati features Mollywood actor Dulquer Salman, Keerthy Suresh and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in lead roles.

Superstar Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu was released along with Rangasthalam and Mahanati with a gap of few days. Bharat Ane Nenu has become a blockbuster hit at the Tollywood Box office not to mention that it created waves overseas too. Yet surprisingly, the film wasn't nominated for Indian Film Festival at Melbourne-2018. On the other hand, Rangasthalam and Mahanati beat Bharat Ane Nenu and got nominated to the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne-2018.

On the career front, Ram Charan is busy with his next film which is yet to get titled and is being helmed by Boyapati Srinu. Keerthy Suresh, meanwhile, is said to be in talks to play a lead role for Rajamouli's multi-starrer film #RRR which also features Ram Charan and NTR in lead roles.
