Venky-Chaitanya To Play Mama-Alludu In Bobby’s Next?

Tollywood's Victory Venkatesh and his nephew Naga Chaitanya are reportedly coming together again in a yet-to-be-titled movie. The film will be directed by Bobby who has delivered hits like Power and Jai Lava Kusa. Sources say Venky will play ‘mamayya’ (uncle), while Naga Chaitanya plays ‘alludu’ (nephew). It's worth mentioning here that the duo played similar roles in the Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit, Premam which was directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Incidentally, Chaitanya Akkineni's next is with Chandoo titled Savyasachi which is slated release in August.

Now, back to Chai-Venky movie with Bobby—The precise nature of the relationship will be revealed once we know more about the plot. Rakul Preet has been signed up as the female lead, while the director is yet to zero in on another leading lady, it is learnt.

The movie will be a blend of more than one genre and holds out the promise of being a great entertainer, sources tell us.

Venky just started shooting for his upcoming film with Varun Tej titled F2. Anil Ravipudi will wield the megaphone for this film.
