TV Actress Jhansi Ends Life 

Hyderabad: Popular TV actress Jhansi committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Srinagar Colony on Tuesday. The police who reached the spot, set her body to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem.

According to the reports, the reason behind the suicide is suggested to be a love affair. The police have registered a case and are investigating further.

Jhansi starred in MAA TV Channel's serial, 'Pavitra Bandham' and hailed from Mudinepalle in Krishna District.

Jhansi's family members said that she took the extreme step as her boyfriend cheated her in the pretext of love. Revealing that Jhansi was in a relationship with Surya for the past six months, they also said that she quit working in serials after meeting him.

However, when Jhansi kept asking him to marry her, Surya cut off communication with her. The family members suspect that Jhansi might have been depressed over Surya's betrayal along with losing out on serial prospects.
