Cab Driver Ends Life After Lover Commits Suicide

Hyderabad: Depressed after a girl whom he was in love with committed suicide, a 23-year-old cab driver also ended his life by jumping into a well at Ghatkesar.

According to Ghatkesar police, P. Shiva (23) , of Neredmet left home on Tuesday telling his aunt that he would return soon. At about 1 pm, Shiva called his friend Ramu and informed him that he would end his life.

P. Shiva (23) was in love with a girl living in his neighbourhood. On Monday, the girl committed suicide due to unknown reasons and what transpired between them is also not clear. On learning this, he became depressed. He left home telling his aunt that he would come back , but instead he called his friend Ramu and told him about his intention to commit suicide and as he was speaking to his fried he jumped into the well at Gundigudem.

Ramu who heard the noise informed the police, but by the time they got to the place, he had already died.

His body was handed over to his family members after the autopsy at Gandhi Hospital and a case has been registered under CrPC Section 174 as a suspicious death.
