Beautician Padma’s Paramour Nutan Kumar Commits Suicide

The brutal attack on Padma, a beautician from Hanuman Junction took another twist with the reported suicide of the accused and her paramour, Nutan Kumar.

The accused had been on the run from the time of the incident and with police closing in on him, is said to have committed suicide by falling under a train between Guntur and Narsaraopeta stations.

His body was found near Satuluru close to Narsaraopeta by the police. It may be recalled that Nutan Kumar and Padma had been in a live-in relationship for four years, following her divorce from her husband, Suryanarayana.

Padma had two daughters from her marriage. On Thursday, August 23, Padma is reported to have called her daughter to inform her about the differences that had developed between her and Nutan Kumar and the abuse she was being subjected to.

The next day Nutan Kumar is reported to have attacked her in the most grisly manner after injecting her with sedatives. Her throat was slit and her hands slashed when she was found lying in pool of blood by her former husband.
