Concede to 108 staff demands

Hyderabad: The Telangana YSR Congress has demanded TRS Government to immediately concede to the demands of the 108 employees who are on strike for the past two days.

“The 108 ambulance scheme, started by YSR, has been very popular and is of great service in times of emergencies and the just demands of the employees should be conceded immediately,” Party spokesperson K Shiv Kumar told reporters here on Friday.
The claim of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of a Golden Telangana has disappointed many of the people as no measures were taken towards that direction. The recent RTC employees strike and the ongoing 108 employees strike stand a testimony to the ire of employees against the Government, he said.
Ridiculing the tour of Rahul Gandhi to infuse confidence among farmers, he said: “the Congress and UPA governments have failed to pay compensation to the kin of the farmers who either died or committed suicide. The tour is only an eye-wash and only YSR Congress stands for the cause of farmers.”
