City’s Coldest Day In 2 Years

Hyderabad: Monday was the coldest day in two years as the minimum temperature dipped to 14.7 degree Celsius on November 7. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) officials said that the temperature plunged due to lack of humidity in the air.

Earlier, the temperature dipped to 13.7 degree Celsius on November 7, 2013

"The relative humidity was 33 percent and this allowed the daytime heat to escape into the atmosphere and allowed the dry cool winds flow from the north and north-eastern regions," said an official.
