Charan Halved Remuneration After Rangasthalam Budget Overshot?

Mega Power star Ram Charan's Rangasthalam is one of most awaited films of 2018. The unit has wrapped up the shoot of the film and the film is currently in its post-production stage which is progressing at a brisk pace. They don't have much time before the film hits theatres and a copy is yet to be sent to the censor board for clearance certificate.

Earlier, there were rumors that director Sukumar's decision to re-shoot some of the scenes made the project a costly affair. Yet Rangasthalam producers never stepped took a back step in terms of funding. The film has been now made in around Rs 100 Cr budget. If reports are to be believed, the entire shoot of Rangasthalam was done with a budget of Rs 45 Cr. Twist to the tale is that Charan and Sukumar have returned half of their remuneration when the budget overshot.

We are not so sure, how much Ram Charan's charged for the film. But, if Rangasthalam becomes a super hit then Cherry will collect some of the shares from the profit it is learned. Let's wait and watch either if this bit of news is a rumor or truth. We will wait for an official word from the filmmakers.

Rangasthalam is directed by Sukumar and produced under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. Ram Charan and film unit are busy in Rangasthalam promotional activities. Rangasthalam is an action entertainer and a Political thriller set in a rural backdrop. Ram Charan portrays a deaf person and he will be sharing screen space with Akkineni Samantha for the first time. Already this lead pair has been getting a positive response from all quarters for their crackling onscreen chemistry seen in trailer and teaser. The film is set for a grand release on March 30.
