Baahubali Dominates Twitter Hashtag List For 2017

Hyderabad: SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali broke all box office records and went on to have a global appeal. Now, the epic film has added one more feat to it and all the South Indian people will be over the moon reading it.
Twitter India released a look back year of 2017 with trending hashtags of the year. And without any surprise, Baahubali 2 notched the top slot beating Bollywood films, which is not a small feat.

The second and third slot were taken away by Big Boss 11 and Mersal. Happy yeah, that one more south film is in the top 3 list..
Twitter also released the top 10 people who have large number of followers. Prime Minister Modi leads the list, followed by Amitabh Bachchan, while Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay figure in third, fourth and fifth respectively.
It is worth a mention here that Deepika Padukone is the only woman to figure in top 10 bagging seventh place. The other trending topics were Diwali, GST, Modi's Mannkibaat and other sports events.
