Are Pawan, Mahesh Taking Fans For Granted?

Who doesn't like Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Superstar Mahesh Babu? Both the stars have a crazy fan following across the universe. But of late, the actors seem to be taking fans for granted. Look at the poor choice of their movie scripts.

Mahesh Babu's Spyder was one of the box office disasters of 2017. It was supposed to be the Telugu superstar's staright Tamil film and expectations were riding high as the actor planned to enthrall the audience in a new avatar. However, the movie failed miserably at the box office as the story was not accepted by the audience.

On other hand, Pawan's Agnyaathvaasi had a worldwide release on January 10. But on the opening day itself, the film received negative talk from the critics and audiences. Add to that the plagiarism woes that the makers are yet to sort out with the French film Largo Winch director. The makers of Agnyaathvaasi too didn't promote the film to avoid questions on Plagiarism.

Both the films were made with a high budget but there was no new unique element in films. Fans only watch films that have some fluff!

Take for example small budget movies like Vijay Devarakonda's Arjun Reddy and Nani's Middle Class Abbayi which did fantastic business at the box office.

What fans fail to understand is why the actors are not being choosy about the scripts? Are they in a hurry woo back fans who are leaning towards the younger actors? It's hightime that the actors understood that the industry is big and stars aplenty, if Pawan and Mahesh want to secure their foothold in the industry then they might as well buck up!

Let's hope Mahesh's Bharath Ane Nenu will live up to all the hype and expectations. The film is being directed by Koratala Siva who has already delivered a blockbuster hit Srimanthudu.
