AP Medical Counseling: 3rd Phase From September 25

Hyderabad: The third phase of AP Medical Counseling for admissions into medical colleges is scheduled for two days commencing from September 25. Kamineni Srinivas, AP Health Minister, advised students and parents not to approach touts for medical admissions, while asking them to directly participate in the counseling process.
Kamineni said: “If students withdrew after counseling, then their original certificates would be retained. This decision is taken considering the loss of medical seats. We lost 100 PG medical seats last year as students withdrew after taking admissions..”
Students, who get admission under B category, wouldn’t get any exemption if they secure A category seats in government medical colleges in the following counseling process. NTR University for Health Sciences doesn’t grant any grace marks to PG students. The system of giving grace marks was introduced post bifurcation on the request of Telangana government, said the minister.
