Officials From Telugu States To Discuss Pending Bifurcation Issues In Capital

New Delhi: The Union Home Secretary has called upon officials from the Telugu States to New Delhi To have a discussion on bifurcation issues that have been pending. This is said to take place Wednesday.

On the top of the list of things to be discussed is he division of Andhra Pradesh Bhavan. Presently ad hoc arrangements have been made by the two governments to split the accommodation and carry out their duties and operations.

The meeting will be chaired by the Union Home Secretary will chair the meeting. Division of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) and allocation of Andhra Pradesh Heavy Machinery Engineering Limited (APHMEL) to Andhra Pradesh, payment of power dues by Discoms, division of AP State Financial Corporation, Establishment of Tribal University in Telangana and Greyhounds Training Centre for AP, Division of Scheduled 10 institutions, Apportionment of assets and liabilities of 40 institutions under Schedule 9 which are acceptable to AP are also to be discussed.
