Chandrababu Says He Will dedicate Polavaram To The Nation This Year

TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu - Sakshi Post

Amaravati: TDP president Chandrababu Naidu said that he would complete the Polavaram project and dedicate it to the nation this year. He seems to have forgotten his 2014 election promise that Polavaram project would be completed in three years.

True to his style, the TDP president claimed that his government would use latest technology to identify locations of cyclones and other disasters based on predictions by astrologers on the occasion of Ugadi. Chandrababu also made several other promises just as he did in 2014, including supply of irrigation water to farmers, more welfare schemes, impetus to development activities among other things. He also claimed that the future of the people of the state is his responsibility.

It appears that the TDP supremo is staring at defeat judging by his comments on the Election Commission. Perhaps no other political party has targeted the Election Commission in such a sustained manner clearly out of frustration, as TDP has. Chandrababu Naidu said that the Election Commission of India was creating problems for the TDP. He seems to be forgetting his own role and responsibility as chief minister, as also the authority of a constitutional body like the Election Commission of India.
